Bachelorette fans accuse producers of ‘rigging’ Jenn Tran’s season as ‘villain’ Devin Strader wins big on group date

BACHELORETTE fans have slammed producers over who won big on the group date

On Monday night, Jenn Tran ‘s journey to find love continued on The Bachelorette with more one-on-one dates and a messy group date.

During the group date , seven of the nine remaining contestants worked with hundreds of sheep on a farm in Australia .

During a few mini-games, Jenn’s men had to wrangle sheep into a gate, pick up after them in mud, and shave a few.

As the men were working, the two farmers who owned the sheep farm, Diane and Richard, were carefully inspecting their work to see who deserved extra one-on-one time with Jenn.

However, many of the contestants weren’t thrilled at the outcome as Devin was crowned the winner.

“It doesn’t make sense to me,” contestant Austin admitted in a confessional.

He continued, “Every time I looked at Devin he was kinda off trying to talk to Jenn and so I think he won the best talker award today but best farmer award? I don’t know about that one.

“Someone else definitely deserves that and it’s not Devin.”

As the men walked away from the farm, one yelled, “F**k Devin.”

‘AIN’T NO WAY!’

Fans were just as upset as the men were and shared their thoughts on X .

“Wasn’t the whole point to find the best farmer? bc devin didn’t do much of that lol,” one person wrote.

Another shared, “This feels rigged! The other boys worked, did what was asked of them…Devin didn’t.”

“You know producers made them choose devin for best farmer bc ain’t no way,” a third viewer admitted.

A fourth joked, “We all know Devin can’t farm.”

“Devin over Austin?? As the best farmer?? Oh Richard and Diane are messy!” a fifth Bachelor fan said.

IN HIS DEFENSE

On the July 22 episode of The Bachelorette , fans came to Devin’s defense when they accused the producers of “body shaming” him .

During a group date, the men had to strip and perform a Magic Mike-like skit in hopes of wowing Jenn.

“I’m not looking for the best strip tease, I’m not looking for the best abs,” Jenn said, meanwhile, the camera did a full-body frame of Devin.

While backstage, Devin admitted to his fellow contestants that he has had body insecurities in the past.

“I don’t have the body for this,” he said in a confessional.

In the end, Devin did amazing during his performance as a “Dirty detective.”

On social media , fans thought the producers camera move was “diabolical.”

“They did NOT zoom in on devin’s body when jenn said she wasn’t looking for the best abs. That was DIABOLICAL,” one tweeted.

Another said, “They didn’t slip that in there omg producers just out here body shaming.”
