AUGUST 5 FROM SOUTH BEACH TO GREAT LAKES PLAINS After a summer in which the Indiana Pacers successfully re-signed their players, they are now looking to fill the fringe roster spots. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania , the Pacers signed former Miami Heat guard Cole Swider.

Swider had an impressive Summer League for the Heat , averaging 13.5 points and 49.1 percent 3-point shooting on nearly seven three-point shot attempts per game. With Swider on the end of the bench, Indiana's offensive prowess continues to improve.

AUGUST 3 TYRESE HALIBURTON'S TIME TO SHINE? Steve Kerr must open significant playing time as he ruled out Jrue Holiday vs. Puerto in Team USA's last Group C contest. Holiday suffered an ankle sprain, leaving him classified as questionable heading into this morning.

Holiday played 15 minutes in Team USA's 103-86 victory over South Sudan. Although he scored only five points, Team USA will miss his defense and timely basketball decisions. Indiana Pacers' All-Star Tyrese Haliburton provides Steve Kerr an option to open up the game, as his three-point shooting could play a factor.

Team USA's reserve point guard made two triples vs. South Sudan after enduring a DNP against Serbia.
