AUGUST 5 FROM SOUTH BEACH TO GREAT LAKES PLAINS After a summer in which the Indiana Pacers successfully re-signed their players, they are now looking to fill the fringe roster spots. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania , the Pacers signed former Miami Heat guard Cole Swider.

Swider had an impressive Summer League for the Heat , averaging 13.5 points and 49.1 percent 3-point shooting on nearly seven three-point shot attempts per game. With Swider on the end of the bench, Indiana's offensive prowess continues to improve.
