This comprehensive course will cover essential topics for anyone looking to purchase a property, including personal money management, understanding credit history, mortgage financing, the loan process, and the responsibilities that come with being a homeowner. The seminar will also shed light on the dangers of predatory lending, ensuring participants are well-informed and prepared for the challenges ahead.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, March 2nd, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Siouxland Libraries Downtown Library, located at 200 N Dakota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. Not only is the Homebuyer Education seminar free and open to the public, but attendees will also be provided with lunch to keep those home-buying plans fueled and focused throughout the day.

Upon completion of both parts 1 and 2 of the seminar, participants will receive an SDHDA Homeownership Education Resource Organization (HERO) Certificate of Completion, a valuable credential for future homeownership endeavors.

For those who cannot attend in person, there is an option to join via Zoom. However, registration is required 24 hours in advance.
