Lackawanna County lane restrictions on I-81
DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Lane restrictions will start at 9:00 a.m. Monday on Interstate 81 north and southbound. Probing the cause of two separate fires this weekend in NEPA
Fire damaged an apartment building in Taylor Saturday afternoon, leaving 8 people without a place to live. Flames broke out just before 1 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street in Taylor. Smoke could be seen coming from the back of the building. Several fire departments responded to help put out the flames. Neighbors say everyone made it out safely following that weekend fire in Taylor.

Man accused of killing and attempting to eat rattlesnake in Delaware County
TOWN OF HANCOCK, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A Delaware County man was ticketed for unlawfully killing protected wildlife. On July 4, Enviornmental Conservation Officers Doig and Osborne received an anonymous tip that an individual intentionally killed a timber rattlesnake in the Town of Hancock. Officers further investigated the report and discovered the individual had also skinned and butchered the snake with a plan to eat it.
