MANHATTAN, Kan. (KAKE) - Riley County Police say a young Wichita woman was rushed to a Topeka hospital after someone attacked her early Friday in Aggieville. KTKA-TV reports that the woman was with friends in the entertainment district late Thursday, but became separated as they were leaving. Police say the woman was communicating with friends until around 2:15 a.m. Friday, when she was attacked in the 800 block of Laramie. The assault was reported shortly thereafter.
