Three men have been arrested in South Kingstown after three separate DUI incidents this week. “Impaired driving is a dangerous problem and having three arrests on a Wednesday – including one before noon – is very alarming,” said Matthew C. BROCKTON – A New Bedford man killed this week in a pedestrian crash is being remembered. At approximately 8:40 p.m. Tuesday night, Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report of a pedestrian struck at the intersection of North Quincy and Hovenden Streets. Brockton Police and emergency medical personnel responded and located a male victim in the street. The victim was transported to Brockton Hospital where he was pronounced dead of his injuries. He has been identified as Domingos Gomes, 57, of New Bedford.
