New Introduction to Table Games Dealer Training course comes to CCRI in August
In partnership with Bally’s, The Community College of Rhode Island is launching its first Introduction to Table Games Dealer Training course in August. This free six-week, 96-hour in-person course offers participants the opportunity to learn to deal Blackjack and novelty games such as Spanish 21, Let it Ride, Three Card Poker, and Texas Hold’em. Students will also learn about customer service, conflict resolution, gaming etiquette, cheque breakdowns, card and currency handling, and preparation for live auditioning and licensing to work in the gaming industry as entry-level Dealers. Grizzlies Let The Grooves and Rhythms Flow with ‘Love In Short Paragraphs’
Love has the ability to come across in a variety of ways. It can come in a hug, an act of kindness, a kiss or even a few written words. This fact can often be fascinating and sometimes puzzling, but it does deserve to be recognized and examined. Hence the debut full-length “Love In Short Paragraphs” from the Providence alt-funk act Grizzlies, which they self-released on June 28. There’s a soulful vibe being conveyed via the groovy rhythms courtesy of bassist Mikaela Villani, drummer Riley Smith and keyboardist Emily Iwuc while complimenting the excellent riffs from guitarist Josh Zenil and Cynthia Munrayos’ vocal delivery.
