I just couldn’t help but notice recently that a new boat is now tied up at Wickford Harbor mooring #600, just east of the Hussey Bridge. The OK Too is tied up there now, and to the uninitiated in Wickford, that might not seem like much of a big deal, but it is. You see the OK Too’s moniker is a tip of the hat to the fine boat that preceded it on this mooring, the O.K. and that is a vessel that had a story to tell.
Great Lakes Brewing Co. Enters Massachusetts, Rhode Island
CLEVELAND – Great Lakes Brewing Co. (GLBC) announces its distribution expansion into Massachusetts and Rhode Island with Atlantic Beverage. The brewery began its market launch on July 19, in conjunction with the release of seasonal Oktoberfest in cans and draft. In addition to the fall favorite, the brewery’s entry into the market includes new 2024 brands Juicy Vibacious Double IPA and Strawberry Pineapple Wheat in cans, and Midwest IPA in cans and draft. The launch will be supported by several kickoff events and promotions.

TAUNTON - The mayor of Taunton appeared in court Monday accused of attacking her husband in a domestic violence dispute.Taunton Mayor Shaunna O'Connell pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and battery on a family member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. According to a police report, officers were called to the O'Connell home on Saturday, and found Ted O'Connell outside on his cell phone. FALL RIVER, Mass. – The Trustees held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of an accessible Discovery Trail at Copicut Woods on Indian Town Road in Fall River on Monday.
