Celebrity Golf Tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Tees Off Today

Every summer some of the most popular celebrities and athletes take to the shores of South Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championship, or the celebrity golf tournament, at Edgewood Tahoe.

Edgewood has been the home of the tournament since 1990, and it has produced some magic moments over the years like Steph Curry sinking a hole in one last year or Mark Mulder winning back to back to back tournaments between 2015 and 2017.

As always, this year has a stacked lineup from sports legends Jerry Rice, Charles Barkley, and defending champ Steph Curry to celebrities like Larry the Cable Guy, Ray Romano, and Don Cheadle. Check out the full list here .

There’s also some very intriguing pairings this year. One of the most interesting is Steph Curry, Dell Curry, and Ray Allen. Three of the best NBA shooters of all time. We’ll see who shoots the best on the course this weekend.

Another good matchup is Tony Romo, Mark Mulder, and Derek Lowe as Romo and Mulder are both previous champions.

Practice rounds have been going on throughout this week, and tee off starts today starting with the first group consisting of Don Cheadle, Kyle Lowry, and Michael Peña. You can watch live on NBC and Peacock.
