Steelers Rookie Quickly Emerging at Training Camp
When the Pittsburgh Steelers lined up with their first team offense to start practice on Saturday, third-round pick Roman Wilson filled the slot wide receiver role. Just four days into his first NFL training camp, the Michigan product is making a case for himself, and after a slow spring at OTAs and minicamp, he's finally starting to shine.
Roman Wilson Stating Case As Answer To Steelers’ Wide Receiver Problem
If Roman Wilson continues his early trajectory in training camp, he can go a long way toward solving the Pittsburgh Steelers’ current wide receiver “problem.” For months on end, parties from all angles have argued that the Steelers absolutely must upgrade at wide receiver. Perhaps they actually mean what they say and don’t feel that they need to.

Myles Garrett Admits That He Studies T.J. Watt’s Game
Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt received praise from one of his biggest rivals — none other than Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. Garrett admitted during an interview with Cleveland media members that he watches tape on Watt to help improve his game. “Maxx (Crosby), Nick (Bosa), Micah (Parsons), Trey (Hendrickson), and T.J.,” Garrett said when asked about who he watched this offseason. There’s a constant debate, especially between the two fanbases, on who’s better between Watt and Garrett. Watt wrote on X “nothing I’m not used to” when Garrett won NFL Defensive Player of the Year over him this past year. So...
Steelers GM Omar Khan: ‘Nothing going on’ involving potential WR trades
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been busy rebuilding their receiver room this offseason, and they may not be done as several veteran options could be on the trade market. But while Pittsburgh has been linked with the likes of San Francisco 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk among others, general manager Omar Khan said Thursday that nothing is currently in the works.
Steelers wide receiver George Pickens finds new ways to establish himself as a team leader
LATROBE, Pa. (AP) — Wide receiver George Pickens is finding new ways to establish himself as a leader in his third season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers training camp: A rookie and a punter — yes, a punter — steal the show
LATROBE, Pa. — A Jaylen Warren run and a George Pickens catch got the biggest reactions from the overflowing crowd at Saint Vincent College on Saturday afternoon, and understandably so. Warren and Pickens are two of the most critical components of the 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers. But only in Pittsburgh...
2024 Stock Watch – OL Mason McCormick
Reasoning: A rookie fourth-round pick, Mason McCormick received some work with the first-team offense today. Starting LG Isaac Seumalo sitting out practice provided him with that opportunity, but he rotated with Spencer Anderson. No matter why, it’s a good experience for a player they’re auditioning for a starting role in the near future.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano Expects Steelers To Add WR Via Trade, Could Be In CB Market As Well
Entering training camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers had two key areas of need: wide receiver and cornerback. Behind George Pickens at wide receiver, the Steelers are a little thin, though names like Van Jefferson, Calvin Austin III and rookie Roman Wilson are off to strong starts in Latrobe. Still, the Steelers could use an upgrade there entering the season, getting a true, proven WR2-caliber receiver.
