Ohio Democratic Party launches hotline for voters' questions
With less than 100 days until the November general election, a new campaign is trying to help answer questions voters may have before they head to the polls. The Ohio Democratic Party’s Organizing for Ohio Coordinate Campaign has launched a new hotline to answer questions residents may have about registering to vote and requesting an absentee ballot. They will also respond to concerns regarding polling locations. “The Organizing for Ohio Coordinated Campaign is fighting to make sure the voices of all Ohioans are heard on Election Day,” Mariah Gould, the director of the campaign, wrote in a statement. “We already have an unprecedented grassroots operation on the ground engaging with voters in communities across Ohio, and the voter assistance hotline is a critical tool to make sure Ohioans have the support they need before casting their vote this fall.” Ohio voters can reach the hotline by calling 844-644-8683, or 844-OHI-VOTE. The hotline is available 24 hours a day.

Super steamy with more heavy rain in the forecast
CLEVELAND — The heat and humidity will hang around all week long. More scattered storms on the way as a cold front sweeps through Ohio from west to east. The biggest threat will be heavy rain. Plan on localized flooding and low visibility on the roads. Wednesday will be hot and muggy with only a few storms during the afternoon. This will allow temperatures to soar into the upper 80s to around 90º.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A complex of thunderstorms will be moving across southern Ohio and into West Virginia this morning. Thunderstorms will be more likely around Jackson County and towards the south for the morning commute, but rain chances will still be around towards the north. Our potential for showers and storms today will wane through the morning, but a few showers will still be possible around noon. When we enter the afternoon and evening, we will be looking at drier weather with a decrease in cloud cover. Expect the evening commute to be overall quiet across the Mid-Ohio Valley. However, it is still going to be quite humid.
