Four arrested in Southbridge for cocaine charges after alleged drug deal

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – Four people were arrested in Southbridge after police increased surveillance in targeted areas of the town where they received complaints of frequent drug distribution.

According to Southbridge police, on Tuesday, June 25 around 4:40 p.m. detectives observed a woman driving a vehicle that they believe allegedly conducted a drug transaction with a man. Following a further investigation, detectives stopped the vehicle on Worcester Street and with assistance from a Sturbridge Police K-9, suspected crack-cocaine was discovered.

Four people were arrested in this incident and charged with the following:

• 37-year-old Jonathan Pagan of Southbridge
  • Distribution of class B crack cocaine
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law
• 27-year-old Luis M. Miranda of Southbridge
  • Distribution of class B cocaine
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law
• 18-year-old Alexandria Saez-Pacheco of Southbridge
  • Distribution of class B crack cocaine
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law.
• 20-year-old Franyavier Sierra-Rivera of Southbridge
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law to wit distribution of class B crack cocaine

A fifth person will also receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.
