Indianapolis, IN – Investigation Leads to Fireworks Shot Off in Home, Fatal Standoff
Indianapolis, IN – An Indianapolis man sought for a firearms investigation triggered a standoff on the Fourth of July, ending in his death. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), the East District Violence Reduction Team and Violent Crimes Task Force attempted to apprehend the suspect at approximately 3:25 p.m. Thursday. The suspect fled, firing a shot during the pursuit. No officers were injured.
