New bagel shop opens in Southwick, Fancy Bagels

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – A bagel shop has opened its third location in Massachusetts.

Fancy Bagels held a soft opening last Saturday with a limited menu. In a Facebook post the following day they said, “We love bringing a positive and family oriented experience to the town. It’s taken a lot to get here but we couldn’t be happier. Thank you for welcoming our family and would love for you to join it. We look forward to this new journey with all of you! “

They offer 27 flavors of bagels, a variety of sandwiches, coffee, and soft drinks located at 587 College Hwy in Southwick, the former Zanto Restaurant. They are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fancy Bagels was established in 1988 in Farmington, Connecticut by co-owners Salvatore Belcaro and Dominick Gualtieri. An additional location is in Southington, Connecticut.
