Rescued Kinkajou in 'fair health' after wellness exam at Point Defiance Zoo
TACOMA, Wash. — Officials said the young kinkajou recently found at a Yakima rest stop is healthy after undergoing a wellness exam. The kinkajou was rescued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police. He was then taken to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma to be examined while staff worked to find a safe place for him.
