Police are searching for four suspects wanted in a shooting in Brooklyn.At least six shots were fired just before 8 p.m. Friday in East New York near the elevated subway tracks on Livonia Avenue.A 38-year-old man was shot in the back. Judge Stops Bus Service Cuts After Lawsuit
A state court judge on Thursday ordered the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to stop the reduction of bus service in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Manhattan. At a hearing on Thursday afternoon on a lawsuit filed on behalf of bus riders by Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams and the Transportation Workers Union of America (TWU) Local 100, State Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron issued a Temporary Restraining Order to restore recent cuts made to bus services in several boroughs, according to a press release.
