BERNARDS TWP. - A dump truck waste fire on one road and an overturned vehicle on another road kept police and emergency responders busy on Wednesday, July 17. At about 7:53 a.m., a garbage truck fire was reported in the driveway of 211/219 Mount Airy Road, not far from the intersection with Whitenack Road.

Truck explodes on Route 3 in Clifton closing all lanes and evacuating homes
A tractor-trailer exploded and caught fire Monday morning on Route 3 in Clifton, closing all lanes in both directions. The incident was initially reported at around 9:07 a.m. with callers on the highway reporting a commercial truck on fire as well as explosions, according to the Clifton Police Department.
