Gregory Balzano Takes Oath to Join West Caldwell Police Department
WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Patrolman Gregory Balzano was sworn in at the West Caldwell Mayor and Council meeting as the newest member of the West Caldwell Police Department. Balzano graduated from West Essex Regional High School, where he played soccer and wrestled. WESTFIELD, NJ — The Town of Westfield has been advised by Elizabethtown Gas that a portion of Springfield Avenue will be closed during overnight hours this week for utility work, Westfield Police said in a Nixle alert Monday. Paterson Aims for $168,000 Grant to Bolster Reentry Program with New Coordinator
PATERSON, NJ – The Sayegh Administration is aiming to utilize a $168,000 grant to hire a Municipal Reintegration Service Coordinator. This initiative is part of the 2024 New Jersey Department of Corrections’ Local, Empowered, Accountable, and Determined (LEAD) Reentry Initiative grant, officials told TAPinto Paterson. If successful, the grant would fund the coordinator position for 16 months, during which the coordinator would work across various agencies to assist individuals re-entering society after incarceration.
