A reckless social media stunt driver has now been linked to a string of New Jersey burglaries by Fairfield police. Antonio Ginestri — who goes by the handle "Squeeze.Benz" on both Instagram and YouTube — was first arrested in May and now faces new charges in different crimes.

Fire breaks out in Chester commercial building
On the morning on July 21, a fire broke out in a commercial building in the area of 39 Elkay Drive in Chester. According to the Sugar Loaf Engine Company, upon their arrival at the scene, the team found a working fire inside the building, soon upgrading the blaze to a second alarm fire. The crew was able to knock down the fire inside while mutual aid teams assisted with ventilation and suppressing “spot fires,” the fire company shared on Facebook.

Officer Aaron Seubert was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Sgt. UTI-Bloomfield begins enrollment for new HVACR program
Universal Technical Institute-Bloomfield on Friday announced that enrollment in its new HVACR program has begun. Classes begin in September. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers is projected to grow 6% from 2022 to 2032, faster than the average for all occupations. This underscores the need for technicians who support the systems that control air quality and temperature in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

There's Still Time To Sign Up for Week 2 of Nutley All-Star Soccer Camp
NUTLEY, NJ - Another great week of Soccer Camp returns to Nutley's Owens Field next week with Nutley High School Soccer Coach Mike DiPiano. For the past 14 years, DiPiano's coed soccer camp has become a township staple, with many participants eventually going on to play soccer in high school and college. Many later worked at the camp when they were in high school. The program is coed, for young people in grades 1 to grade 8. The cost is $150 for the week, which is lower than many of the soccer camps in the region. Camp dates are July 29 to August 1. Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University cross country team unveiled their seven-meet schedule for the 2024 season on Monday morning. The campaign begins on August 30, as Montclair travels to South Jersey for the Stockton Season Opener. The Red Hawks will return to Stockton two weeks later for the Osprey Open on September 14, and kick off the second month of the slate with the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA on October 5.
