SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Officers responded to a call in reference to a disturbance with weapons, Thursday night.

The officer noticed a large crowd yelling at a female, sitting in a Jeep Wrangler, in the parking lot of Wofford Street. The woman was identified as Keritha Tucker.

Tucker informed the officer that she was attempting to flee from a man named “paper”, who had busted out her car window and attacked her, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle.

“Paper” was later identified as Patrick Landrum.

Several vehicles were involved in the collision. A witness notified officers that Tucker had attempted to run over Landrum and before had struck his vehicle and chased him while driving on the grass, where she struck a moped along the staircase of the building.

Tucker then turned the vehicle around, striking the Duke Energy power box and hit Landrum. She then hit a parked vehicle with three individuals inside.

She stated she did not realize that she had struck the vehicles, building or power box.

Landrum told officers that he was the boyfriend of Tucker’s daughter and they got into a physical altercation earlier in the day, at the same location.

Landrum stated he was there to help his aunt when he noticed Tucker on the roof of her Jeep, where she yelled obscene comments at him.

An unknown individual at the complex threw an unknown object at Tucker. She then jumped into her vehicle and began to chase Landrum.

Tucker was arrested and charged with attempted murder, malicious injury to personal property and driving under the influence.
