South Dakota is home to a lot of military families, including one military mom in Sioux Falls named Stacy. She works at the local Scheels and daughters Peyton and Kaitlyn are currently deployed overseas with the US Air Force. They haven't been home in Sioux Falls for quite some time... until now.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Rosebud Reservation is the recipient of a farm-to-school grant program. Among other things, it offers fresh produce to attendees all year. Faith one of many communities hit by large storm Saturday night
Faith was one of many communities across the state of South Dakota to experience damage from a storm that rolled through Saturday night. Not long before 11:00 pm Saturday night the rain hit Faith along with gail force winds in the range of 80 -100 + miles per hour. As the rain came down while the wind reaked havoc, area residents rode out the storm and waited to assess the damage after.
Eilers Furs plans new location, holds moving sale
BrandyAnn Fiala’s decision to move the business she has owned for 18 months follows a tradition set earlier in Eilers Furs’ 97-year history. German immigrant William Eilers established a retail store in Huron in 1927. His younger son, Bill, moved Eilers to Rapid City in 1955 and opened a store in Sioux Falls in 1975. Several other stores were opened following that move. In 1991, preparing for retirement, he reached out to a former employee, then living in Marquette, Michigan. Gail Iwinski and her husband, Leonard, purchased Eilers Furs.

On Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at approximately 2:00 pm, a sheriff's deputy responded to a residence in Estelline to investigate a reported stolen vehicle.
