The Bluegrass and BBG Festival returns for another year of music, culture
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - The Black Hills Bluegrass and BBQ Festival is returning for another year, with events full of music, history, and culture. Starting Friday, June 28, there will be an afternoon band scramble following an evening show with performances from The Bluestems, Cynthia Ridge, Sylamore Special, Joe Mullins, and the Radio Rumblers. The night concludes with a square dance. On Saturday, June 29, workshops will be held in the morning ranging from a fiddle workshop, a banjo workshop, and a swing dance workshop. There are also guitar, mandolin, and a kid’s workshop happening at the Lodge Porch that morning. Saturday night there will be an evening show with performances from Goldrush, The Bluestems, Cynthis Ridge, Sylamore Specials, and finally Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers. Finally, on Sunday, there will be a morning Gospel with performances from String Tied, The Bluestems, Cynthia Ridge, and Sylamore Special.
