Ribbon cutting held for new Warehouse District
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A retail and apartment development is aiming to bring more life into Downtown Peoria and the Warehouse District. On Wednesday afternoon, developers held a ribbon cutting to celebrate what’s to come for the Adams & Oak block of downtown. It’s been six years since the project began, and the developers said they are leasing apartments, businesses are opening, and construction has begun.

Hate crime indictments come for 3 accused of burning Pride flag
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Three men accused of ripping down Pride flags in Peoria back in June were indicted on Tuesday by a grand jury.
