Former Sears Property in Peru Back Up for Auction
It's back to the drawing board for the vacant Sears property at Peru Mall. After quite a bidding frenzy, the property sold for $1.5 million in early May. Later that month, the winning bidder pulled out of the deal. According to stories Starved Rock Media reported at the time, the new owner had been from Tracy, California.
