Evansville Police Discover Bags of Drugs Containing Medetomidine
HENDERSON, Ky – The Spencer County Coroner’s Office and the Indiana Department of Health are warning against a new drug being mixed with illicit substances. Officials report that last month, the IDOH alerted coroners, law enforcement, and first responders about Medetomidine, a non-opioid sedative used in veterinary medicine.

DALE — The Dale Fall Festival Scholarship Queen Pageant will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, at 5 p.m. CT in the Heritage Hills High School auditorium. Contestants can be 15-20 years old as of 9/1/24. All contestants must either have a North Spencer County address or have a Dale address or attend Heritage Hills High School or be a graduate of HHHS.

The other Beryl, a very similar flood, wind & tornado situation occurred in late June 1902 after a hurricane made landfall as at least a Category 1 near Corpus Christi, Texas. The main impacts in this region were June 28-29, 1902. This followed the landfall of a tropical storm in the Florida Panhandle less than two weeks earlier.
