Somebody bought a winning $1 million scratch ticket in Massachusetts for $50 and came forward to claim their prize on Tuesday. The $1 million prize was from the lottery’s “Billion Dollar Extravaganza” scratch ticket game. The game was released on Feb. 7, 2023 as the first installment of the Massachusetts State Lottery’s $50 instant tickets. Two $1 million and three $2 million prizes remain to be claimed as of July 16.

In April 2020, the remains of an unidentified individual were found on the shoreline of Revere Beach in Revere, Massachusetts. Revere is located 5 miles northeast of Boston. Investigators responded to the scene where they determined that the remains were that of a male. The man was between the ages of 50 and 70 years old, stood approximately 5’11” tall, and weighed 182 pounds.
