An anti-abortion group in South Dakota is appealing to the state's Supreme Court after a judge dismissed its lawsuit to take an abortion rights initiative off the November ballot.In a statement, Life Defense Fund Co-Chair Leslee Unruh said the group has asked for an expedited order from the court "because there are absolutely no legal grounds for this dismissal.""We will do everything we can to move this case as fast as possible," she said.The group sought to remove the initiated measure, alleging wrongdoing related to petition circulators. Rapid City’s legion teams finish regular season Saturday
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Post 22 finished off the weekend with a sweep against Post 15 West of Sioux Falls, whereas Post 320 fell in straight games to Post 15 East. Watertown's Home Oasis set to expand with all-new facility
{KXLG – Watertown, SD} Home Oasis, located at 1311 5th Ave SE, is set to expand by demolishing the current building and building a whole new facility. First requests a variance from the Watertown Board of Adjustment to reduce the required side yard setbacks from 20 feet to 15 feet. The variance is needed to accommodate a new, larger building for the appliance retail store and was ultimately unanimously approved by the board.

The annual fundraiser for worldwide relief was scheduled to get rolling at 11 a.m. and continue through a live auction that begins at 1 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, activities for children and a diverse food court.
