GREECE POST 468 (17-1) 5. Derrick Allen went 3-for-4 including a two-out RBI single to cap a three-run sixth as Greece Post pulled away from a tie game. Knotted at two, Jeffrey Broadnax led the frame with a single. Kaleb Juliano reached on a hit by pitch. After a Parker Zeiser sacrifice bunt put runners on second and third, Jaden Madrid connected on a go-ahead, run-scoring single to bring home Broadnax. Brady Gerig made it a 4-2 game with a sacrifice bunt of his own, and Allen drove in Madrid. Allen had two RBI along with a triple and a run scored earlier in the game. Madrid scored twice. Broadnax went 2-for-3. Gerig stole two bases on the day. Weston Elkovitch was 2-4 with an RBI. Quentin Grimes struck out five without issuing a walk and allowed one run on four hits over 3.2 innings of relief work to pick up the win. Brody Froman had a single. Tré Walker doubled and scored the tying run in the fifth as part of a 3-4 effort to lead Meyers-Ingraham. Walker scored both runs for Meyers-Ingraham. Matt Riddell was 2-3 with an RBI. AJ LaLoggia singled, walked and drove in a run.
