MINNESOTA - ATV clubs can request additional funding to cover trail repairs that happened this year with all the rainfall. During a recent legislative session, ATV Minnesota got thousands of dollars added to the Grant-In-Aid fund. Clubs are able to request a supplement once they have spent most of their existing funding. ATV Minnesota President Ron Potter says that clubs need to keep at least $1 in their current grant account otherwise it will be closed because you can’t supplement a closed account. You can check the DNR website for the forms to request supplements.

Minneapolis tallied another shooting with at least three victims this week, the latest coming late Wednesday downtown on or near Nicollet Mall, officials said. The first of the three incidents occurred Sunday night, when three people were shot, one fatally, in the 2500 block of Central Avenue NE., just north of Lowry Avenue, according to police. Christopher D. Thurmond, 32, of Maplewood, was identified as the person who was killed.

Minnesota Law Officer Airlifted to Hospital After Rollover Crash
Willmar, MN (KROC-AM News) - A law enforcement officer in western Minnesota was airlifted to a hospital in St. Cloud following a traffic crash Thursday evening. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office says the single-vehicle crash was reported around 6:20 PM on a rural highway near the town of Atwater, approximately 5 miles east of Willmar. A news release says the responding deputies quickly learned the crash involved a fellow Kandiyohi County deputy who was on duty and driving a squad car.
