Rocheport's Les Bourgeois Vineyards won best of class in the sparkling wine category for its Brut. As one of 11 best of class awardees, Les Bourgeois qualified for the highest honor — the Governor's Cup — which ultimately went to Hermann-based Stone Hill Winery's 2022 Cross J Norton.

The northbound I-55 ramp leading onto the Poplar Street Bridge towards Illinois was closed after a semi-truck overturned on the road. Police believe it is a two-vehicle crash where the semi-truck hit the median before overturning.
Woman killed, juvenile injured after being hit by car in Phelps County
ST JAMES, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed and another was hospitalized after being struck while crossing the highway in St. James. According to a post from the St. James Police Department, a 31-year-old woman and a juvenile were crossing the roadway at about 9 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of North Jefferson Street and State Highway B, located just off of Interstate 44.
