Under moderate drought, City of Saluda issues Stage 1 water shortage advisory
SALUDA, N.C. (WLOS) — The City of Saluda issued a Stage 1 water shortage advisory on July 3, saying that current water supply conditions indicate a potential for a shortage. According to a news release, city officials said for a Stage 1 advisory, water users are encouraged to voluntarily reduce their water use and improve water use efficiency. But, the release said no penalties will apply for noncompliance.
