Police Have Suspect in Dacey’s Pub Burglary, Seeking Info on Jeep Cherokee
Morrisville Borough Police say they are trying to locate information about a Jeep Grand Cherokee connected to the break-in and trashing of a popular local pub. Police say they are trying to “locate a 2023’/24’ Jeep Grand Cherokee” connected to last Sunday’s burglary at Dacey’s Pub, 215 West Philadelphia Avenue.
Public arts plan coming to Lower Merion’s Bala Avenue
LOWER MERION – In cooperation with City Ave District and Bala Avenue of the Arts, Lower Merion Township is developing an arts plan for Bala Avenue. Officials say the plan will chart a future for a more creative corridor by exploring ideas for creating new public artworks and artistic and cultural programs on Bala Avenue.

A house in Blackwood that sold for $415,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Washington Township in the past week. In total, seven residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $324,414, or $243 per square foot.

LOWER MERION — Lower Merion officials are taking nominations for its annual preservation awards, which will be presented later this year. The awards, co-sponsored by the Lower Merion Historical Architectural Review Board and the Lower Merion Historical Commission, recognize notable projects, initiatives, and individuals related to historic preservation in the township.
Trenton Announces City Wide Cleanup through August
Starting in August, the city of Trenton will initiate its City Wide Cleanup. The Cleanup will be done by ward on Saturdays; starting with the South Ward on Aug. 3, the North Ward on Aug. 10, the East Ward on Aug. 17, and the West Ward on Aug. 24. Removal will consist of yard waste and furniture. Please DO NOT leave construction debris, home renovation debris, chemicals, televisions, electronic devices, or unbundled wood/branches over 4ft long. Residents should place items on the curb by 7:00 a.m.

A recent retail theft at an Acme is being investigated by Bensalem Police and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying the alleged suspect. Bensalem Police say they are investigating a retail theft at the Acme located at 2301 Bristol Road on July 24, 2024. It was reported that an unknown white male entered the store at approximately 1 p.m. and stole seven cases of Twisted Tea Lights, valuing $134.00. The actor then fled on foot without paying for the merchandise.
