    Okoboji Rocks Summer Concert returns to Siouxland

    ARNOLDS PARK, Iowa ( KCAU ) — Tickets for the Okoboji Rocks Summer Concert have gone on sale and the event has a lot in store for Siouxlanders.

    According to a release, the concert will be held in the Roof Garden Ballroom on Friday, August 30. Entertainment will be provided by the Everly Brothers Experience featuring the Zmed Brothers.

    Clay County Fair announces lineup of free performances

    Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the opening act of Iowa Rock Hall of Fame inductees Hilyard and Sullivan will begin at 7:15 p.m. The headliner will perform at 8 p.m.

    “Labor Day Weekend is our biggest weekend of the year, and we’re honored to be celebrating the achievements of the Hall of Fame Class of 2024,” President of the Iowa Rock n’ Roll Music Association Ralph Kluseman said. “Now, in our 27th year as a statewide nonprofit 501(c)(3), we always look forward to fulfilling our core mission of honoring achievements, educating youth, and inspiring artists.”

    The 2024 Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame Celebration Weekend will begin on Saturday, August 31. Kicking off the list of events is the Iowa Rocks Talent Contest in the Roof Garden. In addition to recording time in a professional recording studio, the winners of the contest will open the Induction Concert on Sunday, September 1.

    Sunday’s events will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the Iowa Rock n’ Roll Music Association Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Sami Bedell for the Performing Arts in Spirit Lake. The Hall of Fame Induction Concert will be held at the Roof Garden at 5:30 p.m.
