Intersection closed at Sprague Avenue and McDonald Road due to multiple vehicle crash

SPOKANE, Wash. - UPDATE: The Spokane Valley Fire Department said two people were successfully extricated from a three vehicle crash that closed the intersection of Sprague Avenue and McDonald Road Friday evening.

In total, there were five people hurt in the crash.

Police and firefighters are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Sprague Avenue and McDonald Road.

According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, crews are working on extrication at the crash.

The entire intersection is closed.

Avoid the area if possible.
