SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- The Spokane County Sheriff's Office arrested a man for violating a domestic violence order and assaulting a woman in Spokane Valley.

The sheriff's office says 911 received a call from a woman who hung up and called back a second time Wednesday morning. The woman reported the suspect was at her home threatening her.

Deputies arrived and contacted the woman who appeared to had been assaulted. The suspect left before deputies were on scene.

SCSO says they learned the suspect, 25-year-old Kishaney Bonner, had a domestic violence order against him by the woman.

According to the sheriff's office, Bonner had tried to call and text the victim multiple times and his behavior escalated.

Deputies say the victim called a family member to come over for safety, but Bonner was at the door when the woman opened it.

SCSO says Bonner began assaulting the woman including covering her mouth and nose to prevent her from screaming. The victim was able to free herself and call 911.

Bonner was located a few hours later near 6th Avenue and S. Sullivan Road and arrested for burglary, assault, unlawful imprisonment, and violating a protection order.

Bonner made his first court appearance Thursday, and his bond was set at $75,000.
