Free evening swim at some Spokane pools this Saturday

SPOKANE, Wash. - If you're looking for ways to beat the heat this Saturday, the City of Spokane is offering free evening swim at three of its pools.

On Saturday, July 20, free evening swim sessions will be available at A.M. Cannon, Comstock, and Shadle pools. This session runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Spokane Parks and Recreation has other free open swimming sessions at all six aquatic centers Monday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Spokane Public Library will also be expanding hours this weekend to help combat the high temperature forecasts. The Shadle Park library will be open until 7 p.m. Saturday. Liberty Park, Indian Trail, and Central Libraries will be open until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
