At long last, a chance for rain comes Monday - Matt

There is finally rain in the forecast, but we need to temper our expectations. There won't be a lot of it; certainly not enough to change the fire situation around here. That said, the clouds, showers and higher humidity should keep things quieter out at the fires for a couple of days.

What We're Tracking

• Spotty rain Monday afternoon and overnight
• Rain amounts will be light or extremely light
• Slight chance of a shower again Tuesday
• Be alert for lightning and new wildfires, but there won't be as much lightning as the last few weather systems
• Don't get used to the temperatures: Another heat wave this weekend
• Strong possibility of more highs in the 100s starting Friday
