Road work starting in area townships

SPOONER — The Washburn County Highway Department has multiple road closures scheduled over the next couple of weeks for pulverizing.

For all projects, the roadway will be closed to through traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Access will be maintained to local residents. Dates are approximate. When one project is completed, work will start on the next.

Roadway No. 1

Town of Barronett, Heart Lake Road, Highway 63 to Woodyard Road, Aug. 5-7

Roadway No. 2

Town of Beaverbrook, Cranberry Road, Highway 253 to Wild Rivers Trail, Aug. 7-8 and 12-13

Roadway No. 3

Town of Spooner, Mann Road, County Highway H south three-fourths of a mile, week of Aug. 12

Plan accordingly.
