Patrick Mahomes and family reveal big announcement on social media

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany took to Instagram to share big family news. Brittany is expecting the couple's third child.

The child will join big sister Sterling, 3, and brother Patrick "Bronze" 19 months.

Patrick and Brittany were recently spotted at the Wimbledon Championships, Formula One racing at Silverstone, and Taylor Swift's concert in Great Britain.

Neither he nor Brittany was present at the ESPY Awards on Thursday where he won two awards: Best NFL Player and Best Male Athlete. Chiefs Coach Andy Reid accepted on his behalf.

Patrick will report to the Chiefs' training camp later this month focused on winning back-to-back Super Bowls.
