ESPN analyst doesn't think the Bills will miss Stefon Diggs

All eyes are on the Buffalo Bills' offense in 2024. After trading Stefon Diggs, and bringing in almost an entire new group of receivers, the Bills will look a lot different this season than the Bills we've come to know.

What will also be new is the interim tag has been removed from Joe Brady's title, and he is now the full-time offensive coordinator for the Bills. Brady leading the charge is a big reason why ESPN's Mina Kimes isn't too worried about the Bills' offense taking a step back.

"We already kind of got a preview of what this version of the offense is going to look like in the second half of last season when they changed coordinators to Joe Brady," Kimes said. "The biggest and most dramatic shift was the willingness to run the ball. They were good at running the ball before, but they passed based on situation according to NextGenStats at the fifth highest rate in the NFL. After the change, that dropped to 26th."

While appearing on First Take, Kimes also noted that the offense didn't take a step back when Diggs himself took a step back in 2023.

"While Diggs has been the No. 1 option in this offense - he transformed this offense, he arguably transformed Josh Allen's career - we saw in the second half of the season last year when his role was diminished after Joe Brady took over as offensive coordinator [that] the offense didn't really lose a beat."

Buffalo's offense is in a good spot with Brady at the helm of it all. In an approach that leans more into efficiency rather than living and dying by big plays, the Bills will look different, but be more dangerous.
