Heavyweights collide at the APEX when Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac compete in a rematch from 2020.

Tybura (25-8) and Spivac (16-4) fought one another in February 2020, with the former earning a unanimous decision win. Tybura landed 43 significant strikes (and two takedowns) compared to 26 by Spivac. The win ended Tybura's two-fight losing streak, while Spivac earned his second loss.

Since that fight, Tybura has gone 7-2 and is 3-1 in his last four fights. He overcame an early onslaught by Tai Tuivasa in March and submitted the Aussie. Spivac has gone 6-2, also 3-1 in his last four, but lost his last fight in September 2023 against Ciryl Gane.

The heavyweights are ranked eighth (Tybura) and ninth (Spivac) in the division. Can either fighter stand out from the rest with Jon Jones, Stipe Miocic, and Tom Aspinall on top of the division that is currently at a standstill?
