What channel is Mets vs. Mariners on today? Time, TV schedule, live stream to watch Sunday MLB game

The Mets and Mariners are set to meet on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball," with both teams in the heat of the pennant race.

Since June 1, only the Diamondbacks have a better record than the Mets, whose stunning in-season turnaround has propelled them into the thick of the NL wild card race. Entering the weekend, New York owned the third wild card spot, sitting a half game up on the Braves.

Francisco Lindor is among the many catalysts, as the star shortstop has an .869 OPS over the last nine weeks. He'll look to help provide run support for Luis Severino, who has a 4.06 ERA through 22 starts this season.

Seattle, meanwhile, is in a dogfight with Houston for the AL West crown; the Mariners entered this weekend's series just a half game back of first place.

Randy Arozarena, acquired from the Rays at the trade deadline, has helped spark a beleaguered offense, posting a .909 OPS in his short time with the club. Seattle's strength lies in its rotation, and it will send co-ace Luis Castillo (3.48 ERA in 24 starts) to the mound Sunday night.
