John Cena Retirement Tour: WWE legend reveals how many dates will be a part of his final ride

There is still quite a while before the calendar flips to 2025, but that doesn’t mean John Cena isn’t still dominating WWE headlines after announcing his retirement tour during this year’s Money in the Bank premium live event in Toronto — challenging the entire locker room to throw their hat into his ring.

The tour will literally last one full year, and though no opponents have yet been chosen (many are applying, e.g., The Miz, Joe Hendry, CM Punk, etc.), Cena does know for certain how many dates he’ll be booked for.

"I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January,” he affirmed to Collider, via Fightful . “I'll end it in December, and it's going to be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So that's what I'm doing in 2025."

So there you have it, folks.

John Cena will be featured in a total of 36 dates globally, those of course being determined as the months roll by but you can bet it’ll include all of the Big 4 premium live events (Royal Rumble 2025, Wrestlemania 41, Summerslam 2025 and Survivor Series 2025).

And while that’s all sorted, working to match his WWE schedule with his filming obligations in Hollywood, the wrestling legend and star of The Peacemaker finds himself waiting to be told who he’ll square off against first.

It could be just about anybody, though not everyone is worthy to try and see him.
