Manchester City are considering a late transfer move following a serious injury to winger Oscar Bobb .

The defending Premier League champions have completed just one move so far this summer with Brazilian winger Savinho joining from Troyes.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly happy with the depth of options in his squad ahead of a demanding campaign across multiple competitions in 2024/25.

However, those plans have hit by a major setback, with Bobb expected to be sidelined until at least the start of 2025 after suffering a broken leg in training.

Julian Alavrez's sale to Atletico Madrid appeared to be covered by Bobb, who has been elevated in Guardiola's first-team plans over the summer, but another option may now be needed.

England international Kalvin Phillips looks certain to move on again, after a loan spell at West Ham last season, with newly-promoted Ipswich Town rumoured to be closing in a season long loan.

As per the latest from Sky Sports , Guardiola will make a call on a possible move in the coming days, with an extra central midfielder and a forward the target areas.

Erling Haaland has no back up, following Alvarez's move to Madrid, with Guardiola keen to reduce the game burden on midfield lynchpin Rodri in the months ahead.
