The Seattle Seahawks just finished their second joint training camp practice with the Tennessee Titans. During Wednesday's session the headliners were Seattle's first-round draft pick, defensive lineman Byron Murphy II, who dominated in the trenches and former Seahawks strong safety Jamal Adams, who did plenty of jawing for both teams.

Today a couple different characters came to the forefront, including two of the team's most-importing rising young contributors. That would be second-year wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba , who made a couple of highlight-reel worthy catches and rookie right guard Christian Haynes, a key lineman who may have earned himself a promotion.

Here are a few takeaways from the beat reporters who were present at today's practice at the Titans' team facility in Nashville.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is about to breakout

Don't sell that Jaxon-Smith Njigba fantasy stock just yet. During one-on-one drills JSN absolutely pulverized the poor Tennessee corners who were trying to cover him.

After a disappointing rookie year that was mostly not his fault, JSN is easily the team's biggest breakout candidate this season, at least offensively.

Christian Haynes runs with the ones

In the trenches there was a pretty big development, as rookie right Christian Haynes guard finally got to play with the starting unit for the first time this offseason.

Haynes is a bit small for a pro lineman but his athletic profile is very strong overall. He was ranked as one of the top interior line prospects in the class of 2024. We don't know for sure if this is a full-time promotion to the RG1 spot over Anthony Bradford or just a trial sort of thing. Hopefully after practice head coach Mike Macdonald will provide some clarity.

DK Metcalf, Riq Woolen shine in 1-on-1s

As for their more-established stars, wide receiver DK Metcalf and Riq Woolen are probably the most athletically-gifted players on the entire roster. They haven't always lived up to their full potential, but today they came through - especially during individual drills.

Woolen also posted an interception in 7-on-7s.

    Injury updates, attendance notes

As for injuries, DL/DE Dre'Mont Jones was still out after leaving practice about halfway through yesterday. He had been sidelined for two weeks until recently with a hamstring issue. Tight end Noah Fant was also one of the players who sat out today's session.

Running back Zach Charbonnet was also absent again after experiencing some tightness prior to yesterday's practice.
