How did Patriots QB Jacoby Brissett do against the Eagles?

After playing just one series against the Carolina Panthers in the first preseason games, New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett got a full quarter of action in the second game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brissett got three drives in that quarter, three of his seven passes for 17 yards. On his seven attempts, he targeted DeMario Douglas (1-for-2 for one yard), Austin Hooper (1-for-3  for nine yards), Jalen Reagor (1-for-1 for seven yards) and Ja'Lynn Polk (0-for-1).

The 31-year-old didn't look his best, and while part of that can be attributed to the offensive line struggling on the edges, he also threw an interception while staring down Hooper in the end zone. If it were a regular season game, that ball could've been returned for a touchdown.

As New England planned, Brissett took a seat to start the second quarter, and rookie quarterback Drake Maye entered the game.
