Manchester United welcomed their four new signings to Old Trafford ahead of kickoff vs. Fulham on the opening night of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Erik ten Hag completed a double sweep of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich earlier this month after signing Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro in July.

The Dutch manager has now spent over £150 million this summer and is taking charge of his third campaign.

They finished eighth last season, their worst-ever finish. They did, however, win the FA Cup which kept Ten Hag in his position.

Yoro, who United signed from Lille for £52 million was brought out onto the pitch with De Ligt, Mazraoui and Zirkzee to be welcomed by the fans.

He is not going to be able to show what he is capable of until around November as he suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in preseason against Arsenal.

Man United vs. Fulham confirmed lineups, starting 11, team news

Ten Hag has decided that new signing Matthijs de Ligt is not fit enough to start, however, Noussair Mazraoui is. He may well have had no choice given United's injury crisis at the left-back position and throws the Moroccan into the starting XI.

Amad Diallo started the Community Shield last week and keeps his place but it does see the goalscorer Alejandro Garnacho fall to the bench as Marcus Rashford starts in attack with Bruno Fernandes .

Mason Mount joins Casemiro in midfield with Kobbie Mainoo also starting.

    • Man United lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left) : Onana (GK) — Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Mazraoui — Casemiro, Mainoo, Mount — Amad, Fernandes, Rashford.
    • Injured: Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Will Fish, Luke Shaw, Rasmus Hojlund, Victor Lindelöf (doubt), Harry Maguire (doubt)

Fulham have a fully fit squad and new midfield signing Emile Smith Rowe starts for the first time. He joins former United man Andreas Pereira in midfield.

    • Fulham lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Leno (GK) — Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson —Pereira, Lukic, Smith Rowe — Traore, Muniz, Iwobi.
    • Injured: None
