As we near the start of the regular season, there are still a few free agents who are waiting to find their next home, and former New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore did that on Sunday morning, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that he's signing with the Minnesota Vikings.

Gilmore, 33, joined the Patriots in 2017 after spending his first five seasons with the Buffalo Bills. In his tenure with New England, he recorded 185 tackles (three for a loss), 52 passes defensed, 11 interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumbles recovered and a sack while making three Pro Bowls, two All-Pros, earning Defensive Player of the Year honors and winning one Super Bowl.

The Patriots traded Gilmore to the Carolina Panthers in 2021. He spent one year with Carolina and then one each with the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys.

Now, he'll reunite with former Patriots defensive coach Brian Flores in Minnesota and have a chance to help his new team compete for a division title.
