Kylian Mbappe is set to make his debut in La Liga on August 18 when Real Madrid begin their title defence against Mallorca.

The France star, who signed on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, marked his first appearance for Los Blancos with the second goal in the UEFA Super Cup victory over Atalanta .

His first outing in the Spanish top flight takes him to Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on the Mediterranean holiday island, where he will attempt to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo by scoring in his first league game for Madrid.

Fans in the United States wanting to see how he gets on will be delighted to know they can track every second of his game time with ESPN+. The broadcaster is launching a special 'Mbappe Cam', which will follow "every move on and off the field".

Given the way in which he performed against Atalanta and combined with Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, this could well be a primetime show worth watching.
