Super Bowl Champion quarterback shares his opinion on Jayden Daniels

The Washington Commanders appear to have their quarterback of the future in second overall pick Jayden Daniels. The rookie is turning heads early in his NFL career, gaining fans from near and afar.

In addition to teammates Zach Ertz and Austin Ekeler who have been around several quarterbacks in their careers, Daniels gained more fans during the joint practices with the New York Jets . Both Sauce Gardner and Robert Saleh raved about him.

Now one of Washington's own is weighing in.  He is Joe Theismann, Super Bowl Champion and legendary Redskins quarterback from 1974-1985.

Theismann tweeted about Daniels while watching the second preseason game.  He said: "Jayden looking really solid."

Theismann is right. Daniels has checked all of the boxes in the preseason, completing 80% of his passes and using his legs to move the ball also.  Time will tell whether he can do it in the regular season when the intensity is amped up.
